Trends in the fashion industry are changing every month. Like I said in the last post, fashion and social media are linked. It’s not unusual for TikTok to “choose” the next “it clothes”. Obviously, some of them are cute. I like polka dots and fringes as much as the next person. I still think originality and personality make someone more fashionable.
Fashion is about creating and standing out. I love seeing someone in the streets and wish I had thought of that outfit. Items that shouldn’t fit together but do have the best outcome. For example, Saint Laurent’s new arrivals are a mix of coloured flowy skirts and checkered blazers. The combinations work! The marriage of textures add dept and sophistication to the outfits.
Because who says something doesn’t fit with another? Fashion is about expression. Be yourself. Try something bold. Maybe one of the best quality to have in the fashion industry is being bold. Be your own trend.
